A digital product can fit around your space and your schedule. Here is how to choose a format, understand which devices support it and tell an ebook, workbook and interactive service apart.
PDF: the page as it was designed
A PDF preserves the original page layout. Open it with a compatible PDF reader on a computer, tablet or phone. On a small screen, zooming may help. A tablet or computer gives activity pages more room.
EPUB: flexible reading
An EPUB opens in a compatible ebook app or reader. Depending on the file and reading software, text can adapt to the screen and let you adjust type and size. The title’s product page tells you whether this format is included.
Workbooks: room to work through ideas
A workbook pairs reading with questions, exercises or activity sheets. Follow the edition’s instructions: write in a notebook, print permitted pages or enter your answers digitally when the file is explicitly described as fillable.
Language and included materials
The language selected on the website does not automatically change the file’s language. Check the edition and its list of included materials. PDFs, EPUBs, audio and other tools are included only when stated in the offer.
Personal printing and printed editions
Personal printing depends on the title’s format and license. A digital purchase does not include printing, binding or shipping. When a product page links to an Amazon print edition, that copy is purchased separately through that channel.
Interactive services and online access
If your chosen product includes an app or online service, its delivery email contains activation instructions. The product page specifies the platform, devices, account requirements, access duration and any renewals. An access link is not a file that can be installed on every device.
